New Year 720AD

There must be more family somewhere! But I just can't seem to find them. The boat I sent out exploring from Madrid is boxed in on all the ice, so I finally got a household (Cordoba) set up on the other coast.

They're dragging their heels about setting off in a boat though. Despite not finding in more family I managed to keep my other resolutions - I not only settled Cordoba, but also Toledo.

And I took over some old broken down place called Harappan - got rid of all the squatters, and I'm fixing it up now.

That Judaism business is spreading like wildfire through the slaves - I've been letting them build temples. I don't much care what they do in there so long as they do the damn work. Harappan has caught Hinduism off my cousins, too.

And I've nearly sorted out a proper legal system for my lands which are getting quite extensive now:

Christmas went well - the meal was the same as last time, but suplemented with some corn-on-the-cob snacks. And everyone seemed happy with their cheques.
