New Year 275AD
Life really isn't how I imagined it'd be. But I've finally got myself to the point I expected to start from all those years ago! I learnt my letters, and got some libraries up in Barcelona and Seville. Now I can really start to educate myself. Step-Cousin Montezuma was really nice to me, too - he told me all about Iron, and the things you can make from it. It's not as shiny as my copper though, won't make such good decorations, but it'll keep the neighbours under control!
Cousin Cyrus and Uncle Mao weren't telling me anything, but they did buy some accountancy lessons from me. It's always nice to able to teach people things.
I built a boat too! It's just so cool 
Christmas was exactly as I'd planned it - I got fish, sheep and wheat for my dinner (next year I'll have corn too). Everyone came! Step-cousin Montezuma got the best gift (some wheat), but I gave Cousin Cyrus and Uncle Mao quite a lot of money

Resolutions:
- Find more family! (I think my boat is stuck, I need to set up house on the other coast and send one out)
- Expand! (The neighbours aren't so bad now, I think those axes keep them in check)
- Keep my mind active (At the moment I'm reading this fascinating book all about Kings & Queens and Hereditary Rule)
