Monday 23 March 2026 to Sunday 29 March 2026

Pulled out more escaping bits of geranium along the left hand flowerbed at the back, nearly made it along to the end of that bit. Sadly some of the edging has rotted away, so there’s not a clean edge to clear back to. I can still figure out where the line should go tho, and maybe I’ll get something to replace it when I replant the other bed later this year.

Not as nice weather this week. Overnight on Tuesday it was so windy it blew the black bin over in the garden (thankfully not the blue one that was at the front waiting to be collected & full of loose recycling). I always worry that high winds will bring down the honeysuckle (again) as it’s mostly held up by its own habit and rather than being very well attached to the trellis, but it survived this time.

And then overnight on Wednesday it snowed ever so slightly, having hailed in the early afternoon. Hopefully none of the plants are too upset by this sudden cold snap.
