This is a fairly miscellaneous collection of links to graphics I've created or words I've written (normally with a graphical background).

• While learning how to use The Gimp I did some manipulation of photos from my PhD graduation - I rather like the effect on this one.
  
• More learning The Gimp experiences: I went from this:

• A poem inspired by a picture of a purple dress, originally just the title phrase ("Colours like silk, flowing like water") got stuck in my head until I found words to accompany it.
• The Sky Comes in Many Flavours was initially prompted by a question from yhlee about sky.
• I also made the banner for the front of our website.
  
• An initial run of the cat banner was a much larger graphic, which wasn't suitable for the page, but is still rather fine!
